EJMT Abstract

The concept of embedded and two-level patterns will be discussed. We will show how to develop a geometric pattern with one main pattern and another pattern inserted into the empty areas of the first design. For this study, we will use one of the many wall designs at the Hazrat-e Abdolazim Shrine in Shahr-e Rey, Iran.
