EJMT Abstract

In this paper, we solve three ladders-walls problems. The one ladder problem is a typical first year Calculus problem; see [3]. The extension to more ladders and walls using Lagrange Multipliers was discussed in [1], but the calculations were complex. A simpler solution to two ladders-walls problems were discussed in [2]. In this paper, we discuss the three ladders-walls problems and the extensions with the help of Dynamic Geometry and Computer Algebra System.
